There are a lot of hiyodori (Kata=ヒヨドリ, Kanji=鵯) or bulbul songbirds in my area this time of year. For the last 3-4 years we’ve had one in particular that sits on a phone wire outside our 2nd story window and begs us for food. The little guy started coming all the way up to the window and tapping on it sometimes during the first year, and
eventually would even come just inside the window for a little snack. The Hiyodori or Bulbul are mostly frugivorous birds. The crazy bastard is eating from my daughter’s hand this year! *This video was uploaded from my cell phone.
